“Building Power. Defending Rights & Justice.”

On Sunday, September 27^th, 2026, I stood in a room in Birmingham, Alabama, surrounded by family, friends, community leaders, activists, clergy, labor leaders and everyday people who had gathered for a conversation around my first book, UNWEARY: A Call to Justice and Righteous Action for the Modern Activist.

The book had been released just weeks earlier, on August 16 in Atlanta. But bringing UNWEARY home to Birmingham was different.

This was home.
